In The Beginning, there was the demo studio:

a minidisc 8-track recorder, drum machine,
an amp, and a couple of guitars

Once the writing/demos were finished, we moved over
to Studio 22 in Conway, Arkansas.

Powered by Macintosh and ProTools, the work really began!

A nice feature of Studio 22 is the shop area, in case of
those accidents which can (and did) happen!

Two amps that weren't used, but we thought
they were cool enough to photograph.

Of course, every studio needs a conference room...

Admittedly, a pointless shot, but it's purty, ain't it?

A nice trick of audio wizardry: putting a mic to the shell of a drum gives it a fuller tone to mix in with the usual crack of a snare hit.

The first casualty of Day One...

With Sharpe's drumming style, it didn't make it
past the second song... R.I.P.

Sharpe checking his drums before the first take...

A solid truth...

"Lessee... how do I make everything sound in tune,
in the pocket, and... ah, screw it! It's rock n roll!"
